Fort Largs has been reimagined as a vibrant community hub, hosting local produce markets, cultural events, and recreational gatherings. At The Fort Eatery, 5 x Shaderunner® Pro 15’s powered by Somfy RTS motors were installed, covering approximately 100 sqm with custom-sized systems designed to fit seamlessly with angled steelwork. Along Manning Parade, 3 x Shaderunner® Pro 30’s, covering 250 sqm in total, were installed, each measuring 4.6m wide and extending 18m. These systems feature Shade Drive 250 motors, providing smooth and silent operation while battery backups ensure functionality even during power interruptions. Additionally, integrated wind and rain sensors offer enhanced protection from the elements.
Shaderunner®’s design features high-performance 95% polyester mesh fabric, which delivers superior UV protection, glare reduction, and durability. Resistant to mildew and fire, this fabric is specifically engineered for Australia’s challenging outdoor conditions and comes with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty, further affirming its quality and reliability.
